My friends and I went out on the lake on a boat and we stopped by The Breezy for some drinks and to use the restrooms. They were the nicest people and super accommodating. They even helped with my friend's impromptu proposal by singing and playing the piano and having the staff get in on filming and helping. They really made us feel important. Definitely have to go for dinner one day!
Major improvement! I went back because of the reply to my review by the proprietor and it was worth the trip. Lovely day on the lake. Service was fast and the food delicious. The crab dip was tasty, a bit heavy but if you’re drinking that’s a good thing. ******* I was disappointed this year. My favorite dish at this place was the schnitzel. Last year the meat was thick an plump. This year the meat is paper thin 90% bread crumbs and impossible to cut, embarrassing for me trying to cut it and them for serving it. At 25 they can afford to serve a thicker meat, they served me expensive bread crumbs. Awful. So hard it felt like shoe leather. The waitress was very nice but overstretched the bus boy couldn’t care less. It took forever to get a drink order never mind the food. Nice spot but they need to get their game up. Not worth spending so much money to just sit outside. Other places around!

I’ve eaten here twice this (2023) spring/summer and had a great experience both times. The service was prompt, accommodating, and friendly, I’ve had the bacon jam burger and the soft shell crab sandwich which were both unexpected and excellent. Serious cocktails and craft beers on draft. The views are incredible, it’s rare to find a place with that and get a great meal with attentive service. Can’t wait for my next visit!
Haven’t been there yet but I do have reservations, can’t wait to check in! The owner sounds like a wonderful lady, going to a wedding in greenwood lakes, my daughter lives there!
Always a wonderful time here! The food is gonna be excellent whatever you choose; the chef is AMAZING, the bartender can create some fun cocktails, the service is professional, and the owner Paul is talented on his piano and very warm & welcoming! Paul & his team of professionals helped organize a beautiful surprise proposal for a couple that was on my boat charter, It turned out perfectly! Either by car or boat you should stop in an experience the atmosphere an dining for yourself! The outdoor seating is a perfect view of the lake! We are locals and have been patrons for years. We had an amazing dinner this evening. The crispy oysters appetizer has been delicious every time we've had it. The Tyrolean Schnitzel main dish is so so good ( very generous portion) along with the cucumber salad and the bratkartoffeln (potatoes with onions). The service was great and the staff is very friendly. We had a great view of the lake from our table and the music was a very nice accompaniment while having dinner. We finished our meal with a light but decadent chocolate mousse. I would recommend The Breezy to anyone who would like a great meal in a cozy, on the lake setting!
I visited this place quite a few times, as I fell in love with the atmosphere and the food. Not only did the restaurant come with great views of the lake, but the service was amazing. Every employee was always doing something, including those who were not my server. It was quite busy the last time I was there, and they were very accommodating. The drinks were amazing, as I recommend the Just Peachy Martini. I really enjoy that the menu is expanding more by adding seafood. The kitchen does a really great job with what they are giving their customers. Overall, one of my favorite places to eat and enjoy while at Greenwood Lake.
